Kiss Me Goodbye: Reviews

The awesome vocal might and musical presence of Eleanore And The Lost are unleashed with a mix of rock, pop and grunge as the story changes direction. Perhaps a representation of youth and love, Eleanore, a Kate Bush-like vocalist, stole the show and certainly uplifted the audience, evident by standing ovations at the end. Pete Rann, Royal Borough Observer

Anybody out there want to snap up an unsigned artist that blew the Windsor Festival audience away in the Theatre Royal Windsor last week? Mel Gow

Better than any female vocalist in rock going back 2 decades... I'm a rocker and it sounded amazing! She blew me away, perfect voice teamed with a perfect look! Eleanore should be up there with the best and no doubt she will. Had a great time Friday. Richie Day

Windsor Festival uncover a gem... The Rock-star, Eleanore... has a voice that is exceptional. She encapsulated the emotion of A Mid-Summer’s Night in rock. Not an easy feat, but one that the bard might have approved – she sang with insistence and love. Anthony Sharman

You all rose to the occasion fabulously to fill such a large venue with performance and song... it's such a prestigious theatre and Eleanore and the Lost were PERFECT for the show Richmond Harding

We had a great time, meeting a few acquaintances, making new friends and enjoying a stunning performance of creative art and music. For me, the band and the photographs were the best part. The singer was incredible. Anonymous

Eleanore & The Lost were fabulous. Could we buy CD?! Do they have a recording contract? @aspirinnovelist

New Acoustic Set and Material

We're currently focused on getting new acoustic versions of our current playlist ready for our upcoming gigs.

We're also excited about going into the studio soon to record two of the new songs Eleanore has composed/arranged towards either an EP or the second album - we can't quite decide which!

The new songs are My True Nature, which Eleanore was commissioned to compose earlier this year, our first cover - of the classic song Summertime with strong Peter Green vibes, a gorgeous ballad which everyone in the band is loving, an upbeat song about a werewolf (!) and a full band version of Even More - which we stumbled upon only last week.

The new EP/album will be worked up differently from Eleanore's first album - which was produced entirely in the studio. This time, Eleanore is doing her full demo versions and then working the songs up with the band - the extra creativity from within the band at the earlier stage has been great for Eleanore, as everyone understands each other musically - so look forward to some exciting new offerings soon!

Our New Bassist

We're now rehearsing in our new bass player, James Stephens, who's picking everything up really quickly and will play his first gig with Eleanore and the Lost on November 12th. Welcome James!
